Dr. Kayla Roth, PT, DPT, loves the challenge of helping patients accomplish their goals by finding what motivates them patients and using that to encourage them. She especially enjoys working with athletes and helping them get back to their sport.
Originally from a small town, Dr. Roth was instilled with the core values of honesty, hard work, and compassion for others. These values led her to pursue and earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and certifications in Dry Needling, ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization), and Kinesiotaping. After graduation, she went on to work at an outpatient hospital clinic before transitioning to a private practice therapist owned clinic. In these positions, she worked with both general orthopedic patients as well as patients with neurological conditions. She has a wealth of experience working with runners, using video to analyze their running form which helps diagnose what issues are happening and how to fix them.
Dr. Kayla joined the Gainesville Physical Therapy team in December 2018 and will work with patients to establish an individualized treatment plan that is centered around the patient's goals and performs therapeutic treatments to help them reach those goals. Dr. Roth loves the team effort displayed at Gainesville Physical Therapy where employees all strive to assist each other to give patients the most efficient and best quality care possible. She brings to the team a wealth of experience working with runners, using video to analyze their running form which helps diagnose what issues are happening and how to fix them.
When not working, she loves spending time with her husband and children doing fun things like going for family bike rides. She also enjoys exercising daily, running, lifting weights, and doing kettlebell or HIIT training.
